The New Trio

With the retirement of founding member Pete Haworth (see below), Molly's Revenge became a dynamic Celtic trio featuring David Brewer (pipes, whistles, bodhran), John Weed (fiddle), and Stuart Mason (guitar, mandola). We are very excited about the opportunities for collaboration as we move forward, and we've already booked gigs with guest vocalists including Moira Smiley, Colleen Raney, Zac Leger, Christa Burch, and Peter Daldry. We also work closely with Rebecca Lomnicky, a rising star and champion Scottish fiddler. Keep an eye on our gig schedule for an upcoming performance near you!

The Admiral's Farewell

With a heavy heart and many fond memories, Pete Haworth (aka "the Admiral") stepped down as singer and spokesman for the band on January 4, 2012. After 11 years of joyous music making, 10 CDs, hundreds of performances, thousands of travel miles, and tens of thousands of hours looking for gigs, Pete Haworth has finally decided it's time to hang up his bouzouki.

He's looking forward to his second retirement and finally getting to work on projects which have been on hold for the last 10 years. Of his time with the band, Pete says: "I've enjoyed every minute of my time with Molly's Revenge and feel hugely fortunate that I was able to be a part of such a great band. I'll never forget the musical experiences, the amazing musicians I've met along the way, and the wonderful fans that have made the last 11 years the experience of a lifetime. I wish the rest of the band the best of luck as they go forward, continuing the legacy of Molly's Revenge."
